Welcome to K-4th grade NC Squash

2021-22 Season

K-4 Squash will be held at St. Lukes School Squash Courts under the direction of their coaching staff.

We will be scheduling a "Try It" session for new-to-squash players who would like to come see what squash is all about!

All clinics are on Saturdays from 9:00 - 9:45 AM at St. Luke's School.
 
Winter Session I:
December 4 - January 29
 

Winter Session II:
February 5- March 19

$310 per session

Little Racquets: Ages 5 & 6

Future Stars: Ages 7-9

3 players per session unless more slots are in demand

Program Goals

New Canaan public school squash players in Kindergarten through 4th grade will be taught the fundamentals of squash in a fun, age-appropriate and positive environment. As players progress through the program, they will learn proper racquet skills, footwork and develop knowledge of the rules of the game. The program endeavors to start children on a path to becoming life long squash players within a framework of camaraderie, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Additional Details:

 

Maximum of 4 players and 1 coach per court (Pre-Covid) 
Update: We will follow St. Luke's Athletic Club's policy for maximum kids per court per their safety protocols.  

Please arrive 5 minutes before class

Players should wear comfortable clothing (t shirt and shorts)

Players who are ready will have the opportunity to play a friendly local match or age appropriate US Squash Tournament by the spring of their first year playing 

We cannot accommodate early arrivals or late pick ups. Please be on time to pick up your child, or feel free to stay on the mezzanine level (while social distancing)
